Great BBQ!
Check out the sampler when you go. I always make sure I ask for everything boneless though are else you will get some bone in stuff. But you can't go wrong with sonnys BBQ
Also, it should be mentioned that they will be assisting the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics of Kentucky this year! What a great business! -

Rolled into Sonny's late in the evening and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We were seated promptly.
I asked about beers on tap and was told one choice was "Amber Brock" server was clearly not a beer drinker, but that's ok.
We made out orders my dinner partner had the Pulled pork sandwich, and it looked good.
I had the sliced pork which had great Smokey favor and not a great deal of fat. Fries here are crinkle cut and served hot the baked beans have a wonderful flavor and not over done with liquid smoke like some chain BBQ places.
They are a place that still has a large salad bar. I haven't tried the one at this location, but it did look good and fresh when I walked by it.
Sonny's has been a staple in Somerset for a couple of decades, it is a solid spot if you are in town and want some Q. -

The food was simply amazing. I had the sampler and got to try some of everything. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cornbread, but I would definitely go back for the bbq. Customer service was average, but overall a great dining experience.

This is the practically the only BBQ restaurant in Somerset. For the majority it's always good. Sometimes I get a meal that could have been better but I love it. My favorite drink is the lake water. It's half sweet tea and half pink lemonade. One of my favorite things to order actually isn't on the menus. It's the beans and franks. You should try it.

Always quality food at Sonnys. Favorites are the Ribs, slaw and Sweet tea. Top notch. All the meats are very good. Reasonable pricing for a bbq joint. Always seem to have All U Can Eat options for different meats.
